At Meadow View Nursery, each of our rooms is thoughtfully designed to nurture your child's curiosity, independence, and overall development.

Our rooms are:

  • Buttercups – for children aged 0–2 years

  • Bluebells – for children aged 2–3 years

  • Snowdrops – for children aged 3 years and above, in our shared Together Room

Each age group is supported by a dedicated team of caring and experienced staff, who focus on meeting the individual needs of every child in a safe, engaging, and supportive environment.

Our Buttercups

Buttercups Baby Room (0–2 years) Our Buttercups Room provides a calm, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our youngest children aged 0 to 2 years. We understand that this early stage of development is crucial, and our experienced team is dedicated to ensuring each baby feels safe, secure, and loved. The room is thoughtfully designed to support every aspect of early development—from tummy time and sensory play to early communication and movement. We follow each child’s individual routine as closely as possible, working closely with parents and carers to ensure a smooth and consistent experience between home and nursery. With a strong emphasis on emotional wellbeing, attachment, and responsive care, our Buttercups team helps babies build confidence and form secure bonds that support their development. From cosy sleep area to engaging play zones, every corner of the Buttercups Room is designed to spark curiosity and support exploration at a gentle pace that suits each child.

Our Bluebells

Bluebells (2–3 Years) Learning and Thriving in Our Together Room At Meadow View, our Bluebells (2–3 year olds) learn and grow alongside our Snowdrops (3–4 year olds) in our thoughtfully designed Together Room — a shared space that supports development through play, exploration, and social interaction. We’ve created an inclusive, nurturing environment where younger and older children benefit from playing, learning, and discovering side by side. This mixed-age approach encourages natural peer role-modelling, social confidence, and helps prepare our Bluebells for a smooth transition into the next stage of their early education. Our experienced practitioners are skilled at meeting the needs of different age groups within the same space. For our 2-year-olds, this means offering plenty of opportunities for: Developing early communication and language Encouraging independence and self-care (including toilet training support) Exploring sensory play, creative arts, role play, and early maths and literacy The Together Room is carefully arranged to support individual learning journeys, with resources, routines, and interactions tailored to each child’s stage of development. By sharing space with the older Snowdrops children, Bluebells are inspired and encouraged — while still receiving the focused support and care they need during this important stage of growth. The Together Room is a vibrant, joyful space where every child is supported, included, and encouraged to thrive.

Our Snowdrops

Snowdrops (3+ Years) Confident Learners in Our Together Room and Beyond At Meadow View, our Snowdrops (children aged 3 and above) thrive in our carefully designed Together Room, which they share with our younger Bluebells group (2–3 years). This shared space provides a rich, dynamic environment that nurtures curiosity, independence, and confidence as children prepare for their transition to school. A highlight of the Snowdrops experience is our regular Forest School sessions, where children explore the natural world, build resilience, and develop teamwork and problem-solving skills. These outdoor adventures foster a deep connection with nature and support both physical and emotional development. Inside the Together Room, our skilled practitioners deliver a thoughtful, play-based curriculum focused on: Early literacy and numeracy Communication and social development Imaginative and creative exploration Our Snowdrops are encouraged to think independently, ask questions, and take increasing responsibility for their learning and daily routines. Sharing the Together Room with the Bluebells group brings additional benefits — children have the chance to act as role models, build empathy, and practise leadership in everyday situations. This mixed-age model supports their school readiness by encouraging confidence in group settings, independence in self-care, and the ability to adapt to diverse social interactions. The Snowdrops experience at Meadow View is designed to help every child explore, imagine, and grow — both in the classroom and beyond.
